Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman has been a gymnast from the US for over ten seasons. She was part and was captain of the US Olympic Female Gymnastics Women's Team, Fierce Five (2012) as well as the Final Five (2016). In 2012, she was awarded gold in the team competitions as well as the floor exercises. For the balance beam, she earned the bronze medal. This made her one of the very first American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to earn the most medals. In the 2016 Olympics she won a gold medal in the team event that earned her and teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of been one of the very first Americans to win back-to-back team golds. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals in both the all-around individual and floor exercises. Between the two Olympics her break was taken. Also, she has been part of two gold medal winning world championship teams. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice when she was two and her most favorite sport is floor exercises. Aly has a strong support for her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who died due to cancer. Aly plans on pursuing the field of fashion, and is looking to increase her signature line of leotards as well as socks in the future. Fierce is a book that she plans to release later in the year.
